The BPT – Bachelor of Physiotherapy is an undergraduate healthcare program focused on physical rehabilitation, movement science, and therapeutic care. The course prepares students to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, injuries, and movement disorders through non-surgical and non-pharmacological methods.
The program covers anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, orthopedics, neurology, cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, sports physiotherapy, and rehabilitation sciences. Students receive extensive practical training in clinical assessment, therapeutic exercises, pain management techniques, and patient rehabilitation, along with clinical internships in hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
Graduates can work as Physiotherapists in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sports clinics, orthopedic clinics, wellness centers, or establish private physiotherapy practice. They also have opportunities for higher studies and specialization.
