The B.Voc Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) is a vocational undergraduate program designed to train students in the efficient management and functioning of hospital operation theatres. This course prepares skilled OT technologists who assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams during surgical procedures.
The program provides in-depth training in operation theatre techniques, sterilization and infection control, surgical instruments handling, anesthesia assistance, patient positioning, pre- and post-operative care, and OT safety protocols. With a strong focus on hands-on training, clinical internships, and industry exposure, students develop practical skills required in real hospital environments.
Graduates can pursue careers in multi-specialty hospitals, emergency units, trauma centers, surgical clinics, and operation theatres, or continue higher studies in operation theatre and critical care technologies.
